Pentecost Sunday

Join us at 10:30 a.m. tommorrow as we celebrate Pentecost Sunday. On this Sunday we will share in the Pentecostal Declaration that states:
I believe the Holy Spirit is calling us to lay down doctrinal and practical differences so that the Church as a whole can begin to cry out as one voice for revival. On the Day of Pentecost, in the upper room they were in "one accord" We need to become one church. There is no Baptist stream, Assemblies of God stream, Nazarene stream, Presbyterian stream, Church of God stream, Catholic stream, Protestant stream. We can no longer be the Methodist stream or the Apostolic stream. We must let the streams of life we all represent become one mighty river flooding the lands with revival fire.
God is not as concerned with our theology as He is with our love for one another. We need to lay down things that are not important to salvation. IT doesn’t really matter whether or not you are pre-millennial, post-millennial or amillennial in your theology. It really doesn’t matter if you’ve rolled on the floor laughing in His presence, or you stand withhands lifted in awe of Him. The last thing John records in Revelation is this "The Spirit and the Bride say come..." It didn’tsay the Baptist bride or the Pentecostal bride or the Methodist bride, but simply the Bride. That means we MUST unite as one Bride crying out for the Return ofthe Lord.
I believe the Holy Spirit is calling us back to the original callingof the church: "Tell them that the kingdom is here." Bring health to the sick. Raise the dead. Touch the untouchables. Kick out the demons. What was God’s will then is God’s will NOW. NOW Faith is! NOW is the day of salvation. NOW we are to going to the marketplaces with the power of the Kingdom. Healing the sick, casting out demons, raising the dead, and saving the lost. The mantle that was released onto these men on the day of Pentecost is being released upon the church today. We have amandate from heaven to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom.
On this Sunday, we are the Church, we are the Bride, and we need to ask the Father to Baptize us with a new anointing to take the Gospel of Jesus that saves, heals, and delivers to the nations.
I believe the Holy Spirit is calling the Church to begin to walk in the bridal identity it is designed to walk in. The heart of the Fatheris passionate in love for humanity. The desire of his heart is for humanity to return that love to Him. I believe we as the Church need to ask Jesus to give us a revelation of the Bridegroom/ Bride relationship as He sees it.

Happy Memorial Day

Memorial Day Balloon Release

CCC celebrated Memorial Day with a special balloon release in honor of our deceased loved ones. Over 110 balloons were released with the names of fallen comrades and cherished friends and family. The sunlight shining through the dark clouds seemed to indicate that God was present at our memorial.

Welcome to the Family, Anna Grace

Sunday morning was a special time for the congregation as we welcomed Anna Grace into the CCC family. Anna had privately given her heart to the Lord a few weeks ago. She had asked to make a public statement of faith before the church and acknowledge what God had done in her life. We thank God for this young child and pray that her testimony will encourage others to stand upon and proclaim Jesus as Lord.

CCC Worship Team

The Worship Team did an excellent job leading the congregation into worshipping Jesus Messiah! God has blessed our congregation with very talented musicians and singers. Their dedication to worship through practice and preparation is outstanding. May God bless them as they continue to Let The Glory of the Lord, Rise Among Us!!

A Supernatural Encounter

Yesterday's message was entitled, "A Supernatural Encounter." The text was taken from Paul's Road to Damascus experience in Acts 9.
Some earthly minded preachers have said that Paul’s experience was:
1)A Heat stroke from the desert sun
2)Paul was struck by a bolt of lightning on a clear day and he only thought he heard a voice
3)Paul had an epileptic seizure Charles Spurgeon, the great preacher of the past said, “If that’s true, I wish that all men could have epilepsy.”
Man is always trying to explain away the things of the supernatural. To admit that there is really a world of the supernatural is to also admit that Heaven and God and Hell and the Devil are also real and man can’t face the idea that he isn’t the final authority on anything. Paul was confronted with the Light from Heaven, coming down from the Father of Lights with whom there is no variableness or shadow of turning. When we are confronted with the Light of Jesus by hearing his Word preached or the eyes of our spirit are opened and the light of love flows in, we can’t help but be changed. We can then choose to change and follow the Light or we can choose to close our eyes and walk into the depths of darkness. Without Jesus we are nothing, we can do nothing outside of His power within us. We can accomplish nothing for the kingdom of God without Jesus.

CCC experienced a wonderful revival with Evangelist Chuckie Chandlar from South Carolina. The Lord blessed us tremendously. Our drama team, REVIVED, ministered nightly and the altars were filled with people seeking for more of God's grace in their lives. The presence of the Lord was manifested in numerous ways during every service. To God Be The Glory!
