Food Pantry

The Care Package Food Pantry will be open this Saturday, November 7th at 8:00 a.m. There are food preparations available to serve 200 families. We will also be distributing winter coats for those in need. If you would like to help distribute food please be a the church by 7:30 a.m.

The Care Package received a high acknowledgement during its recent audit by the West Alabama Food Bank. The overall leadership, organization, finances and participation of The Care Package is considered to be in the top ten category of food distribution agencies.

We are averaging over $1500 in food purchases and spent over $10,000 for food in 2009. Special thanks goes to everyone who has contributed to this program. We are proud to acknowledge the Cottondale United Methodist Church, Cottondale Christian Church and Cottondale Baptist for their partcipation, also.
