Tommorrow's sermon is entitled, "Stop, Look, Listen & Learn!" In 1982, "ABC Evening News" reported on an unusual work of art - a chair attached to a shotgun. It was viewed by sitting in the chair and looking directly into the gun barrel. The gun was loaded and was set on a time to fire at an undetermined moment within the next 100 years. The amazing thing was that people waited in lines to sit and stare into the shell's path. They all knew the gun could off at point-blank range at any moment, but they were gambling that the fatal blast wouldn't happen during their minute in the chair.

The story seems hard to believe. Why would anyone be so insane as to volunteer to stare down the barrel of a loaded gun? The fact of the matter is many are doing something just as bad. Living a life of rebellion against God. They know that they are not living according to God's will. They have the mindset that we serve a God of love. This is true, but we also serve a God of righteouseness and contrary to popular believe You Can't Sin And Get By!

God wants us to Stop, Look, Listen and Learn His will for our lives. Jesus corrected His disciples by saying, "Having eyes, do you not see? And heaving ears, do you not hear? And do you not remember?" God has performed many miracles in our lives. Let's not forget that He is the One True God and is deserving of our obedience.
